In the wake of the opening of its European Resource Center for Research and Learning about the Eastern Holocaust (CERRESE in French), Yahad - In Unum, an association chaired by Father Patrick Desbois, is holding a series of monthly conferences on the theme “The Holocaust and the Contemporary World.”
The objective of this series, entitled “Thursdays at CERRESE,” is to put into perspective the views and questions about the Holocaust emanating today from different disciplines: history, sociology, political science, geopolitics, art, literature and psychoanalysis.
For Yahad - In Unum, the series is part of an effort to give visibility to current thinking throughout society regarding the Holocaust as well as to create a permanent public space dedicated to discussion, offering the opportunity to consider the approaches developed in each of these disciplines, beyond disciplinary boundaries and different viewpoints.
